Trainee Patent Attorney
Angela has been a member of the life sciences team at Mathys & Squire since September 2019. She holds a master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford.
Angela has experience in drafting, prosecution and opposition of patent applications in the fields of molecular biology, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, including in areas such as antibody technology and protein and peptide based medicines. Her master’s degree provides her with a broad expertise in biochemistry, with a particular focus on immunology, virology and recombinant DNA technology. Angela has experience in handling European and global patent applications.
Angela holds a master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry (MBiochem) from the University of Oxford. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary, University of London.
