Trainee patent attorney
Angela joined Mathys & Squire’s life science team as a technical assistant following completion of her master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry.
Angela works in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and biochemistry. Her degree provided her with a broad expertise in biochemistry, with a particular focus on immunology and virology.
Angela received a distinction for her masters’ project assessing the role of cohesin in DNA organisation through ChIP-Seq, yeast genetics and recombinant DNA technology. She is also experienced in mouse ES cell culture, FISH, immunofluorescence and super-resolution microscopy.
Angela holds a master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry (MBiochem) from the University of Oxford.

Angela is a student member of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA).
