Trainee Patent Attorney
Katie is a technical assistant within Mathys & Squire’s life sciences & chemistry team. She joined in September 2021 after completing her MChem degree at the University of Oxford.
Katie’s academic experience has provided a broad expertise in theoretical and practical aspects of chemistry, with a particular focus on sensing and electrochemistry.
Katie graduated with a first class degree in chemistry from the University of Oxford in 2021. For her master’s project she focused on the use of chalcogen-bonding within ion-pair electrochemical sensors.

Katie is a student member of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA).
