Nadège joined the Life Sciences team at Mathys & Squire in 2016 having previously worked for another private practice firm. Nadège handles a wide range of subject-matter in the fields of molecular biology, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

Expertise

Nadège has experience in drafting and prosecution of patent applications, opposition work before the European Patent Office, as well as in the provision of freedom-to-operate opinions. She primarily works in the fields of molecular biology, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, and has particular experience in the areas of peptide-based technologies, including antibodies, antisense oligonucleotides, fusion proteins, vaccines, and small molecule pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining the profession, Nadège worked in regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.

Academic

Nadège holds a Diplôme d’Ingénieur in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier. She obtained a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, focussing on a formal synthesis of the natural product diazonamide A. She also holds a MSc in Management of Intellectual Property and a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London.
