Jessica has theoretical and practical experience across organic chemistry, including medicinal chemistry, transition metal catalysis and reaction development. She has a variety of experience in the pharmaceutical field from lead identification through to scale-up and process development.

Jessica graduated with a first class degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford in 2015, for which she completed a year-long research project on a de novo synthesis of multisubstituted aryl amines. She went on to pursue a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Bristol, during which she developed regioselective and asymmetric iridium-catalysed C-H alkylation methodologies with a view to finding applications in synthesis.

Some of her work has been published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society.
