With over 20 years of experience in the trade mark field, both in-house and in private practice, Helen’s expertise lies in contentious matters, as well as clearance searches and prosecution work.

 

Throughout her career, Helen has gained a wealth of experience in trade mark prosecution and portfolio management and is well known for her strategic advice in connection with contentious matters including oppositions, cancellation and invalidation actions. Helen’s expertise covers the whole life cycle of a trade mark from clearance searches, applications and prosecution, through to registration and enforcement.

Helen has a broad range of experience with clients ranging from SMEs to large multinational companies and charities.

Helen has a BA (Hons) in law and geography from Oxford Brookes University, and acquired her Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC) from Cardiff University. She became a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney in 2005.

Helen is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA) and International Trade Mark Association (INTA).
