Sophie Wilson

Sophie studied a wide range of areas in Material Science and Chemistry, with a focus on organic synthesis and polymers in her final two years.

Sophie studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, graduating with a master’s degree in 2024. Over the duration of the course, she studied Earth Science, Material Science and Chemistry. She conducted her Master’s research project in new types of radical polymers for photovoltaic applications. She successfully synthesised two novel light-absorbing polymers, achieving a first class dissertation, and looks forward to the group publishing the results in the near future.
