Trainee patent attorney
Alex is a technical assistant in Mathys & Squire’s life sciences & chemistry team, having joined after the completion of his MSci degree in Natural Sciences at Cambridge University.
Alex specialises in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. He has a wide knowledge base within organic chemistry, having practical and theoretical experience of fields such as protein chemistry, organometallic catalysis, organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry.
Alex holds an MSci degree in Natural Sciences (Chemistry) from the University of Cambridge, which included completing a research project on the design and synthesis of novel thiamine pyrophosphate derivatives.
