A fixed term contract role to provide maternity cover has become available within our Patents department, for a minimum period of 12 months. This is a full-time position, based at either our Cambridge or London office, and includes hybrid working.
We are seeking a suitably experienced candidate with ideally a minimum of 3+ years in a range of patent work. The role will involve working in a close-knit team providing key support to a selection of fee-earners ranging from Technical Assistant to Associate level. Key responsibilities will include looking after fee-earner deadlines and client emails, drafting standard correspondence, preparing new patent applications and response uploads (using EPOline and OLF 2.0), as well as dealing with WIP charges and all standard and monthly billing and e-billing requirements, amongst a range of other tasks.
This would suit someone with excellent communication and attention to detail, who is keen on a busy role with lots of variety and responsibility, with the opportunity to upskill.

We are seeking two IP Support Specialists to provide direct support to a mix of Senior Associates and one or more Technical Assistants within one of our IT & Engineering groups. The role will involve taking on key responsibilities for the Fee Earners, helping to manage their caseloads and deadlines alongside client-related emails. Responsibilities will also include drafting of standard correspondence, new filings and response uploads, managing WIP charges in Inprotech, and preparing all standard monthly billing and e-billing requirements.

CIPA IP Paralegal (IPPC) qualification an advantage, along with some e-billing experience.
