Mathys & Squire will be at Quantum Connect 2026

Mathys & Squire will be at Quantum Connect 2026 in Munich, Germany on the 3rd of March.

Partner Matthias Brittinger and Trainee Patent Attorney Adrian Holzäpfel will be attending the conference “Future of Computing | Quantum Connect 2026,” taking place in Munich, home to our German office.

The event is designed to promote innovation and growth within the field of quantum tech by forging connections between corporate leaders, industry pioneers, startup founders and academics. Quantum is an exciting field of research, shifting from theory to real-life impact, and this conference will explore the latest trends and innovations, and how to commercialise and scale quantum breakthroughs.

It is important to recognise the role which intellectual property plays in bridging the gap between research and practical application. Matthias Brittinger is a German Patent and Trade Mark Attorney and a European Patent, Trade Mark and Design Attorney with over 20 years’ experience. He has worked on cases related to semiconductor power devices and second quantum revolution technology. Adrian Holzäpfel has an extensive background in quantum communication with expertise on emerging technologies such as quantum computing, quantum cryptography and quantum metrology applications.
