Lynsey is a Technical Assistant in the life sciences and biotechnology team. She joined the company’s Manchester office in September 2023 after the completion of her PhD.
Lynsey’s main expertise from her PhD lies in the field of stem cell research, cell engineering, wound healing, and inflammation. Her interdisciplinary background has provided Lynsey with a solid understanding of general engineering principles and a grounded awareness of many aspects of bioprocessing and biomedical engineering.
Lynsey holds a first class honours BEng in chemical engineering from Heriot-Watt University, an MSc with distinction in biomedical engineering from the University of Strathclyde, and a PhD from the University of Manchester on the mechanisms of mesenchymal stem cells in response to electrical stimulation.
