Lechuan He

Lechuan’s background in Electronic and Electrical Engineering gives him a strong grounding in machine learning, telecommunications, control theory, electronics (both digital and analogue) and optical systems. Since joining Mathys & Squire he has worked on a wide range of inventions in AI and medical devices.

Lechuan graduated from UCL with First Class Honours in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. His third-year project focused on AI explainability in the field of telecommunications, and his fourth-year project involved developing a machine learning algorithm for an EEG system.

Lechuan has worked on cases including AI, medical electronics, gear pumps, cybersecurity software, finance technologies (insurance), and AR/VR/XR.

Within the broad field of AI, his work has covered large language models, vision-language models, mixture-of-experts architectures, image generation, robotic control using reinforcement learning, algorithmic efficiency improvements, data centre compute utilisation and data centre cooling.
