Gaby joined Mathys & Squire in 2023 as a Technical Assistant in the Life Sciences & Chemistry team and is based in the Oxford office.
Expertise
Gaby has a broad scientific background in cellular and molecular biology with a focus on neuroscience. Her academic and industrial experience has also provided her with a strong understanding of in vitro imaging, genetics, biochemistry and assay development.
Academic
Gaby holds a BSc in biological sciences from Imperial College London, an MRes in biomedical and translational science and a PhD in neuroscience research from King’s College London. Her PhD project, titled ‘Characterisation and Modulation of mutant ARPP21 aggregation in ALS’, involved stem cell culture, cellular imaging and molecular cloning.
