Craig started in September 2024 as a technical assistant in Life Sciences & Chemistry team at Mathys & Squire.
Expertise
Craig has a broad scientific background in molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology and microbiology, built through extensive academic research and postdoctoral experience. His work has spanned multiple disciplines, from structural biology and protein complex mapping to the study of sensory arrays and viral mechanisms.
Academic
Craig holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham and a PhD in Molecular and Structural Biology which focused on mapping the distribution of light-harvesting protein complexes in photosynthetic membranes. Craig went on to postdoctoral positions, where he researched a diverse range of areas in cellular and molecular biology including; biosensors, chemotaxis sensory arrays, HIV capsid degradation and cryo-tomography of cellular systems.
