Mathys & Squire in partnership with
Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) Enterprise Hub

Mathys & Squire is pleased to be partners of the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) Enterprise Hub.

RAEng is a charity that harnesses the power of engineering to build a sustainable society and an inclusive economy that works for everyone. Through its Enterprise Hub, the Academy supports the next generation of high potential entrepreneurs and business leaders with innovations in the engineering and technology fields. As a charity, their programmes are offered free-of-charge and the organisation takes zero equity.

The programmes provided by RAEng offer tailored support, from training on how to commercialise your innovation, to developing the right leadership skills to scale your company. Each programme offers grant funding, mentoring, bespoke training and free use of the Taylor Centre.

Through our partnership with RAEng, we have held a number of IP workshops introducing the various aspects of IP: patents, trade marks, trade secrets, IP agreements, design rights and copyright. During these events we advise cohorts on the importance of developing an effective and robust IP strategy, discussing the potential added value of securing supply deals with third parties and investments based on utilising IP. Members of our IT and engineering team also hold regular one-to-one meetings with members of RAEng to help answer any IP-related questions or concerns.

Over the years, we have had the privilege of working with a number of entrepreneurs through our partnership and have become a part of the journey with, to name a few, Chip[s]board, Cambridge Mechatronics and Agile Analog.
