British Design Fund was launched to fill a gap in funding for engineering and manufacturing start-up enterprises.

The Fund backs product-focused start-up teams, who are ready to scale-up and build thriving standout businesses.

Alongside capital investment, British Design Fund provides expert mentoring to support such companies to accelerate their growth plans. The Fund’s diverse portfolio boasts start-up enterprises from across the UK, including innovators in the fields of prosthetics, healthtech, solar heating and energy efficiency, sustainable packaging and logistics, and agritech.
