Their members invest in and provide mentorship early-stage growth companies, playing a part in turning entrepreneur\u2019s ground-breaking visions into reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, members of HBS Alumni Angels UK have invested around \u00a39.1m of primary investments in 59 companies across a variety of sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simon Hardy, President of HBS Alumni Angels UK, commented: <em>&#8220;We are tremendously grateful to Mathys &amp; Squire for hosting our HBS Alumni Angels Pitch Event at their wonderful office in The Shard. As always, this year\u2019s event was highly successful and received positive feedback from our investors and our start-ups. Their ground-breaking technology, PreSize Stenting, is a software platform which allows surgeons to see what is happening inside blood vessels in real time. Currently, people with Parkinson\u2019s disease receive only 30 minutes of contact with a doctor a year. GNOSIS\u2019 platform, MAXine, ensures patients get the attention they need 24\/7.
