Ryan joined Mathys & Squire’s IT & engineering team following completion of his master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Exeter.
Expertise
Ryan has a background in electronic engineering and specialises in patent work in the physics, electrical engineering and medical equipment sectors. He has experience in patent matters such as patent drafting and prosecution, as well as freedom to operate searches and the drafting of assignments. Ryan’s areas of technical expertise are power harvesting electronics and signal image processing.
Academic
Ryan obtained his master’s in Electronic Engineering from the University of Exeter with particular academic experience in microcontrollers and RF modules. This course involved a project in Bordeaux where he worked on a ‘CanSat’ communication station. His thesis related to a genetic algorithm based launch control system and a telemetry system for the Formula Student competition run by IMechE.
