In 2014, intellectual property firm Mathys & Squire moved into the iconic The Shard offices in London Bridge. Prior to that, the firm was based in Holborn alongside a multitude of other IP firms in London. Being a firm that prides itself on quality and differentiating itself from other IP firms, we knew that moving to The Shard was the key to continuing and building upon our success story.
Our London office houses the firm’s support functions including: Marketing; Accounts; Facilities; HR; and a Management Team, alongside over 60 patent and trade mark attorneys who work across a wide variety of sectors, including aerospace, IT & software, pharmaceuticals, life sciences & chemistry, manufacturing and cleantech.
Our London head office services local businesses in the community as well as our global clients. The team in London is heavily involved with the local tech community and regularly hosts workshops, IP clinics and IP training for early-stage startups and young aspiring businesses.
We also work with other groups including: Central Research Laboratory, Royal Academy of Engineering, HS2 Accelerator, Catapult Connected Places and Raising Partners.
