Aymeric joined the patent profession in 2000 in an Intellectual Property firm in Paris, and joined the London office of Mathys & Squire in 2011. Aymeric is a qualified European Patent Attorney and is also a qualified French attorney. He works for a wide range of clients, from individuals to multinationals. In Legal 500 it is noted that Aymeric is an 'excellent' patent attorney, with 'strong technical backgrounds and highly developed legal skills’ (2017).

Aymeric works for a wide range of clients from individuals to multinationals. He has experience of examination and opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office, and also patent litigations before the French jurisdictions. Aymeric deals with various technology fields such as mechanics, optics, packaging, medical devices, computer-implemented inventions, signal and image processing, with particular emphasis on telecommunications. He has drafted and prosecuted numerous patent families for a major European company specialising in avionics, optronics and biometry.


Aymeric has a degree in engineering from the √Čcole Centrale de Lyon (ECL) and an International Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) from Imperial College London, both gained in 2000. He is a qualified European Patent Attorney and is also qualified as a French attorney (Conseil en Propri√©t√© Industrielle), both for patents and for trade marks & designs. In addition, he holds a diploma in intellectual property from the University of Strasbourg (CEIPI).
