Aymeric has a Degree in Engineering from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon (ECL) and an International Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London. He joined the patent profession in 2000 in an Intellectual Property firm in Paris, and joined the London office of Mathys & Squire in 2011. Aymeric is a qualified European Patent Attorney.
As a member of the IT and Engineering team, Aymeric deals with various technology fields such as mechanics, optics, packaging, medical devices, computer-implemented inventions, signal and image processing, with particular emphasis on telecommunications. He also drafted and prosecuted numerous patent families for a major European company specializing in avionics, optronics and biometry. Aymeric works for a wide range of clients from individuals to multinationals. He has experience of examination and opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office, and also patent litigations before the French jurisdictions.
Aymeric also qualified as a French Attorney (Conseil en Propriété Industrielle), both for Patents and Trade Marks & Designs. He also holds an Intellectual Property Diploma from the University of Strasbourg (CEIPI).
Aymeric is a native French speaker.
